I believe if I remember correctly that is a one of one car, am I wrong?

The Daytona with the mod-top is the only one known to exist. But there is still uncertainty whether or not it was installed by the factory, or put on by the dealer, or maybe for an executive / special car. The car is well known in the wing circles.
The car was completely restored in the past 10 years though it seems to have been out of sight.

Here are some links to articles and other info about the car.

Did Mopar Collectors Guide do an article on it a long time ago? I believe that is how I heard the rumor about it

What about the blue Superbird in the picture under the speedboat? It looks like some kind of mod top. Never seen that.

That superbird is also well known in the winged warriors circle. It is NOT a factory installed top. It was a mild custom done in the 70’s. In addition to the vinyl roof floral pattern is was also a padded top.
If remembering correctly at somepoint the car also had a hood scoop and chrome dress up parts installed on the engine. Back then the cars’ owner lived in WI.

Here are two, parked outside of Cobo Arena, Detroit, in late January or February, 1983. Both had Ohio plates. The Autorama was at Cobo, at the time. I wonder if the cars were still there when the owners returned to the parking lot?

Saw this car in 1976 when i came to California, while in the Air Force, stationed at Mather AFB.
Saw this Daytona up in Grass Valley, CA.
Had my chance to buy it, but not on an E-4 pay grade.
Wonder whatever became of it?

Found this pic online, never came across it before.
Looks like multiple wing cars in the snow.
