Hood Pins

Going to add hood pins to my ‘71 air grabber hood during its restoration.Any one ever use Pro Source brand kits??? I see Dales Cuda also has a kit available for my application.Which kit do you all recommend? Is the Dales kit worth the extra cost??

I looked at the ad looks pretty good. If you want pictures on how they should fit. I will sent you some. Very easy but be careful who you listen to when installing them. NO measuring need if you know how. I would be glad to send the pics and explain. Love hood pins.

I got the ones from Dales. They sell in Chrome just like originals and SS. I went SS. Perfect fit and look

I got mine from Dale's about 20 years ago at a car show here in Canada, really good quality.

I guess I'm in the minority group going by the replies thus far in here. Hood pins are not necessary if your latch and safety hook work. They are a PITA. They scratch your paint and if you ever change your mind to go w/o hood pins, there's those ugly holes staring at you that got drilled in your hood. And that hood maybe one that is desirable like a bulge hood, ram air hood etc. Yeah I know some come the factory that way, but to add hood pins to a hood that doesn't have them to begin with??? smh
