The Headlight Doors On My 69 Charger Wont Close. Where Should I Look?

Thank You

I would test for vacuum to the lights. There is vacuum hose connection block at the core support on the driver's side. Also test that the headlight doors are not physically obstructed from moving.

That fragile vacuum switch next to the headlight switch. Extreme caution is required - don't pull or break the thin vac hose nipples on the switch.

Did you change or do something recently to the car? For example when I did some dash work I must've accidentally knocked off the connector to the light switch that activates the doors. Or another time when I was working on the front end and I somehow disconnected the vacuum line that controls the "close" part of the doors. If you can see inside of the front end, I believe the port on the vacuum pods you want to check is the top one; someone correct me if I'm wrong...

Try swapping the vacuum lines(top to bottom) to see to see if the pods work. If they close then the switch could be bad
