Ok so I’m looking at a car to buy in the San Diego area. The problem is I’m in Oklahoma. Is there a place that inspects older vehicles for you. Like check the vin locations and frame rails for rot and such. Not really worried about mechanical problems but other stuff. It’s extremely hard to go 1000 miles just to look at a car. Especially with this virus crap going on and work and life. I’m sure it’s probably ok but I would like a 3rd party opinion before throwing down so much money. I’m afraid I’m blinded by emotions. This is a car that my dad bought new in late 73. 74 challenger. I’m 99 percent sure it’s the right car just don’t want burned. I’d hate to buy it and it be rotted in the frame or worse a tag job. I’d like the numbers on the cowl and core support confirmed for sure.

If all else, I'm in the San Diego area and could check it out for you + ask questions + take pics! I'm no professional appraiser, but if the classic car guy doesn't work out hit me up:thumbsup:

And did I mention for much cheaper? :bananadance:

I sold a car to a guy from California a couple of years ago and he couldn't come check it out himself. He hired this place called Lemon Squad 218-316-4500. The owners are Andy and Travis. I was impressed enough that I called and got their contact information in case I ever needed them as a buyer. I thought they were very reasonable as for what they charged.
