I’m using an Edelbrock 6psi max fuel pump with a fuel vapor separator and fuel pressure is about 3lbs. Crimp the return line and I’m getting the 6lbs. I just installed a six barrel setup and want to get my pressure back to stock (7-ish?). What pump should I use to feed a non strip six barrel 440?

I'm curious if you checked the return line outlet of the vapor separator to ensure it's not oversized? Should only be about the size/diameter of a paper clip inside.

I'm about to install the same setup on my 383 so I'm very curious to read more solutions regarding this.

Thanks. Yes I did it has the soldered end with the tiny hole. Since I spent a butt load on the pump, I’m going to install a 1/4” ball valve on the return line, shut it off, and if I have any vapor lock issues this summer I can crack the valve open and adjust pressure/bypass vapors with the valve.

I haven't taken the time to work it back into the system. I "temporarily" plugged the return line to the gas tank.

If you replace that fuel pump, check your pump push rod length for a state of mind.
When i bought my car i suffered from low pressure/fuel starvation, even after replacing the pump.
Later on checked and found the pump push rod was worn and had became shorter, causing a small actuation of the pump lever, which resulted in poor fuel flow.
I believe the original length is 3,220", if it is shorter than that, replace it for a good brand.
Best buy is a NOS push rod, as the new ones do not come with that quality of steel and heat treating anymore.
That's what i did and still shows 3,220" if i check it.
