Inside the drivers door the vertical window track is missing what I think is called "Cat whiskers"..when you shut the door the window rattles in there a bit.
Looking to replace the cat whiskers inside that track.
Anyone know of where that material can be found or a suitable modification if they dont make it any more?
Thanks in advance

I went to a fabric store and matched it up, like khryslerkid said, its just a felt type of material.

There is also a brand called TopCat. Many vendors sell 'um.

Classic Ind MD8067 41-76 MOHAIR LINER 1-5/8 for $24.99 Window seem very tight when I test it but have not install window to try out yet getting close.

I bought mine ( window guide felts) from Detroit Muscle, not cheap by any means @100 ea and are fairly delicate. The felt is on a very thin piece of ABS type plastic that is easily split. They did tighten up the window and work very well. I just dont know if they make them for 63, I think they said 66-70
Just a suggestion when installing...you have to make your own holes for the guides. Use a hole punch and do not try to drill them, I almost ruined mine

I bought mine from Joe Suchy, used Goop to glue it in, rolling it in with a window screen roller. Then jammed in a strip of 1/4" plywood until the Goop set up. Worked nicely.

The actual material is mohair channel liner and comes in two different widths, 1-5/8 or 2-7/8 inch. Pricing for the thinner material is typically around $2.50 per foot for the thinner width and $3.00 for the wider material. It will take seven feet for a hardtop and eleven feet for a sedan. As others have stated, it basically resembles a velcro type material to me. Just glues in the track with weatherstrip adhesive.

Way back in the early 80's the soft side of Velcro is what we used as 69bfan has stated.
Back then nobody had anything repoped. The local streetrod builders were using it.

Thank you everyone for the help!
I have a friend who is a body man and he had a piece from some unknown origin. Tried it but it was waaaay to tight and could not even roll up the window. So I am gonna look at all these suggestions.
I really appreciate all the help!!!
Thank you
