I also found a couple leftover rivets from the track felt. So I modified them to work on the ash tray.

I used a cupped set screw to set the head of the rivet on while peening, works great.

I need a set of these!
So I thought I'd get the trim laid out for the vinyl top. So first I had to back track a little to get the end drop rail piece in. I put new 1/4s on so that screw hole needed put in.
I got the rear window trim out and laid it in place. The put some tape down, so I can trace around the trim when I get it where I want it.
I could tell where the clips were by the rust stain on the inside. I marked it, then transferred it onto the tape.
When I went to the other side that piece didn't fit the same as the drivers side. One is a little thicker and longer than the other. Hmmmm
Sooooo I'm going to have to find a matched set. FYI one measured 21" and the other 21.75
So Eldubb440 solved my trim mystery. The longer piece is a Dodge piece. So if any of you have a extra a extra drivers side trim piece for the rear quarter I'm in the market.

I'm 99.9% those dodge pieces I have are repop, and they are very nice......... you might want to look into a set
if you're going for the aged look, they are pretty easy to find.......unless I hid them somewhere

they are bare stainless steel. I have a pair and a single. I will look and see if the single is a LH.

Was your tail panel pitted at all or pretty good original shape?
It was pitted pretty good. I was pretty happy with his work. Had to do a little work on the paint edges. And he didn't remove the pits from where the red stripe goes.
