Interesting.

$172?

Eyeyeye!

I only paid $175 for my press.

This is the set I bought from Mancini Racing pn# MRE66489 $155.00 when I rebuilt my front suspension on my 73 RR
works on all A B E body suspensions. Includes every tool needed except a big *** vise.

In a effort to drag a topic back up, I am replacing these bushings and looking for the help on this thread. Can I cut out the original sleeves and bushings? I know I still need to press the new ones in but would this work for getting the old ones out?

Does the bushing removal tool handle the whole job of removal and assembly?

I see a lot of comments about cutting old sleeves out but I've never had to do that on uppers or lowers.

...in 35 years.

I don't remember the exact procedure (it was a long time ago) but I used a ball joint press from Autozones "loan a tool".

Did you buy the tool? If so, how did it work out?
I bought one but didn't use it for the UCA bushings. Come to find out Summit was selling the wrong bushings for the 74 uca. They've since corrected the fitment description. I did use the tool for something else and it worked great. Just don't remember what I used it on! Sorry I wasn't more help.
