I'm paying Verizon too much for what little data I'm getting. Looking at carriers on the web is like a maze. Who do you use and do you like what they do at a decent price?

i use straighttalk and it works great 45 a month for 25 GB of data unlimited text and talk

T-Mobile $35 per line with unlimited everything. Customer service is excellent. Had both Verizon and Att. No comparison.

Since I have Xfinity as my internet provider (Super Fast Cable internet) & for mommas TV I use their cell service too... my talk & text is unlimited, data is limited but honestly I mostly am connected to wifi so actual data usage I've only exceeded my basic allowance once in the past five months...

Two lines, me & momma, service is great, I travel for work so I'd know if there was problems.. I believe Xfinty uses Verizion towers..

December was $14.59
January was $14.59
Febuary was $14.59
March was $26.48
April was $14.59

I like T Mobile also, been with them before they were T Mobile. If something comes along that seems better, I give them a call and for 23 years they have always topped it.

What are you paying now? I'm a touch under $99 with verizon for unlimited everything...

I had Consumer Cellular, I really had no complaints at all
good service & inexpensive, way better than AT&T or VeriZon was...

But now, I don't use a cell phone all that much
just more of a convenience when driving,
I don't even turn it on, unless I want to call someone...

My dad has his & he uses it more while traveling
(he had the same plan I had/have}

I have all of my stuff, cable tv, internet, home phone, cell phone
bundled on Comcast/Xfinity, for a couple years 1 bill, 1 payment
been pretty good, internet is hands down the fastest I've ever had
cell, it's VeriZon the service is just so so,
IMO Consumer Cellular was better

Unfortunately, they (Comcast/Xfinity) keep raising the damn prices on cable BS
I have to renegotiate ever 2 years, they drop it back down to
close to what it was originally when I 1st got the bundle deal

I have Consumer Cellular and the service seems as good as ATT at half the price, $25 a month for unlimited talk and text with 500mb of data, you can get 3 gigs for $30, or 10 gigs for $40 a month but I don't need it. That is the single line price, they don't require you to have four lines to get a deal, plus when I signed up they gave a month free and a $10 credit for the sim card I had to buy.

Check the coverage maps where you live and be traveling. When my Mom was alive at the assisted living I had Consumer Cellular. I was first to be called in case of an emergency. It worked O.K. at my house in the city but driving 20 to work and at work it became zero coverage. I know they are part of AT&T and they were working and completed work on our county radio towers. Numerous calls to C.C. and asking them to have a technician check for signal problems got no where. So after almost a year of no service I quit them. Plus the coverage map was wrong. Ask people that are in your area whom they have. I switched to Selectel Wireless which is part of Verizon for 46 a month for $30 plus alittle over $2 in taxes. That has been almost four years now and I laugh every time I see a C.C. commercial on how good their customer service is. The difference between the two was $5 more.

In my area it looks like Spectrum is the best deal currently ( Verizon towers) But I have US Celluar... because to switch I need to upgrade my phone (I6) I will say it (USC) works in 99% of the places I go. Bumfuck nowhere Nevada & hellno never Texas. But its to much $ for what I have usage wise

I use Tracfone. I spend about $9 per month (averaged per the one year contract rate with tripled minutes divided by 12 months). Great coverage in the US and the Caribbean island areas. My wife has the same smart phone and Tracfone plan, but she texts, talks and Internets a lot more than me and she spends about $25 per month for hers. Since they use other carriers’ equipment, the coverage is great.

I changed from Verizon postpaid to prepaid and cut my bill in half. You might look into that, it was easy to change over. I see no difference in service.

I freaking hate T mobile. I couldn't even get a signal in the shop. they were raping me 80 bucks a month for the same plan I get through Cricket for 35 a month, AND I get a signal every where I go.

I use Consumer Cellular too. It was a carry over from my work issued phone. I bought a new phone through them when I got the service.

It's all a GD racket! We had a phone on the kitchen wall (party line at that) when I grew up and it worked fine! I have Verizon service for my flip phone and it's hit or miss at my house-in a valley. When this phone pukes I'm doing without.

I use Mint. If you already have a phone they are a good deal. They piggy-back off of T-Mobile. I get 8G of data a month, unlimited text and calls. If I use all of the data I still can use the internet, it's just slower. I can still get on this site with no data, but I can't watch videos.
I just paid $262.96 for a years worth of service.

ATT here. Been using them form years. I don't use my cell phone for every day usages nor do I spend a lot of time carrying it. I refuse to be "tethered" to those things. I use it for travel by vehicle, directions, and when away from home for communication. That is about it otherwise I am on my desk top most of the time. I just do not get the need and reliance that so many use them for. Just way too over the top IMHO. My cost for cell phone is very low a month for an unlimited amount and data usage. Oh...I am also on a special program for it from my service in the USAF which also includes free internet. The program isn't available to just anyone and you must talk to a rep in order to obtain what I have and you must meet certain criteria. But as for pricing and the coverage, IMHO you cannot beat ATT...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

Well since you rarely use your phone what makes you qualified to say you can't beat AT&T?

I had cell phone coverage through AT&T for close to 20 years.. I always had that smug feeling that they were the best... Then I changed carriers & found out otherwise...

I just got a new I Phone from Verizon Wireless with a new plan through my business.
Unlimited voice, text and data for $35.00 a month plus a $200.00 credit applied to my account for being a business and using Verizon Wireless for almost 20 years now.
Phone cost was extra
