I sold an item on EBay and the buyer paid for USPS 2 day Priority shipping. I shipped next day after they paid and did my part. Well it’s taking USPS over a week for it to get from Michigan to California and their mad at me. What is going on with people lately? Like it’s my fault...
 
Sounds like a 1 out of every 10 USPS experience. I just sold a bunch of stuff on eBay over the last few weeks. Mostly USPS and everything was good except one package took its sweet time, same deal as what’s happening to your package.

It’ll eventually get there. Has nothing to do with a China Virus.
 
I was just at the post office to get a quote on shipping a package, was told the delivery date would be “sometime”.
 
Same thing happened to me awhile ago as far as the Post office screwing up delivery. I shipped the part the next day, part was cycling around the post office and he did not get it as quick as he wanted even though he said he was looking for that part for 2 years... Filed a complaint with PP 3 days later and told me that this way he gets the part and his money back for me not getting it to him on time... He was goin to get the part the day PP refunded him my money. It arrived at his post office and I talked with my PO supervisor here and she told me I can stop delivery so I had paid $13.95 to stop the package delivery and have it returned to me. He called me cursing me out telling me it's his, he bought it, release it, blah blah blah. I told him remember I said the part or the money BUT not both.. Told him I hoped it takes another 2 years till he sees another one and hung up!! Don't sweat it. It will show-up but block the guy from bidding on future auctions because he is obviously unreasonable...
 
Every time a load hits a postal station they appear to be leaving it sit for a week.. then passing on to the next. "3 Day Expedited" in Canada just took 33 days from Ontario to Newfoundland for me. Package I shipped to 69gtx down South took almost a month.. sat in Chicago for 14 days. I've been waiting for Mopar John's, Tim's and a few others shipments via USPS for over 3 weeks now..
 
I have been having the same experience. According to the tracking...The last thing I ordered sat 15 mins drive away from the post office for 15 days before being delivered.
 
Its been hit or miss. Got a package from Canada in 5 days and took 2 week from Michigan.

I agree I just bought an Nos 71 RR Header emblem and it was in Washington State shipped Thursday and it was here in my Mailbox in Pennsylvania on Saturday
 
I bought some parts from Johnny2992 and he shipping USPS Priority Mail. It's been circling around Alabama for almost a week and according to the tracking it may get here tomorrow, unless it takes another detour. Not his fault at all. Priority Mail used to be 2 day delivery, now it's 2-3 day delivery, but if you get it in a week you're lucky.
 
A friend in Oklahoma sent a Christmas card on November 24th, got it in March.
Now waiting for a cam and lifters shipped from the USA, postal service said about 2 weeks.
 
Hit or miss here also. I've been shipping USPS and it's been pretty good. I did buy a mirror that took it's sweet time getting here. They seller seemed nervous and kept sending me messages that he's sorry it's late. He sent it on time. I told him no big deal. Tracking number said he brought it to the post office on time, I just got it a week late. Some people just need to be patient. It happens.
 
My regular mail carrier got the virus and died.
The Detroit main depot is operating at 40%.
We get mail every 2-3 days now.
I have a parcel that I ordered 3 weeks ago, not here yet.

I can be patient.
Better than on a vent.
 
I sold a part to another of our members and it went from Michigan to Hawaii in 4-5 days, I was surprised but I had shipped Priority.

Why I spray our mailbox with lysol and then sit in the truck.. pull the mail out into a cardboard tray and set in the back of the truck and spray it. Then leave it in the garage for days on the floor before I touch anything. Boxes get soaked in Lysol and left for 2 days before I open them and repeat with what's inside..

Most likely, that parcel didn't get tied up in the Detroit Depot.
Pretty amazing it took only a few days. What a ride!

To keep Paypal on your side, ALWAYS fill out their Shipping Information section on the transaction with the appropriate tracking number as soon as you get back from the Post Office! As long as you provide proof that you followed through on your end of the sale, they are hard-pressed to prove you didn't.
That two minute follow up saved me a $1600 reversal when a customer claimed he didn't receive the grille assemblies I restored.
 
I ordered a part and paid for 2 day shipping even though it was just on the other side of the county. Didn’t have time at the time to go pick it up. It took UPS over a week to get to me and that’s when they passed if off to USPS. - not a big deal but next time I’ll just drive over and pick it up if it’s in stock. Seems like Amazon still gets things here in rapido fashion - while other companies stuff takes a bit more time.
 
3 weeks for an Amazon order to get here!
