I have a 68 GTX 440. I just removed the valve covers for the first time and noticed the rockers have a stamp on them of either +32 or +34 is this done by the builder or the factory? I have two on the left bank at +32 and 6 at +34. The stamp is on the interior of the cup opposite the push rod tip. Just curious.

I have '70 383 magnum which probably has the same rockers. On the left bank they all have tf1 stamped on them. On the right bank it seems all the intakes are stamped tf12 and the exh.are stamped tf1. I assume these are the stock units, but don't really know for sure.

I don't remember anything about the numbers stamped on them but they do use a right and left rocker arm at each cylinder so that may be why there is two different numbers. I thought I remembered some with an L and R on them but its been a long time since I used them. Ron

My 78 motorhome 440 had similarly stamped numbers on the rocker arms....must have been some factory designation (Ma Mopar or otherwise) or supplier number? I've never found an answer...maybe someone knows.
