hello, i would like some new tires and rims for my 67 Coronet . i have front disk pw.brakes with 14 inch original spinners crag-er ss's and try are very old. would like new set of magnum 500 factory wheels with GT radials all around . can i get p235/14 front and rear? or do i get p225/15 front and rear? i also have 2 inch lowering blocks to the car as it is now, its very low.
anything 14 inches is very hard to find locally more costly too. i had another 67 dodge w/60's front and rear it s a smooth ride on good pavement.
......................thanks be safe.

I would go with 15 inch. IMO they look better than 14’s.
Should handle nicer as well.

I just replaced 14 inch mopar rally rims and went 15 inch mopar police rims. Tires are easier to find as well with the limited sizes we have to work with (depending upon your setup obviously).

Before and After:

IMO nothing beats cragar ss rims, but not much tire option now! Magnums would be my second choice!
I do like the look of gm rings and cap, never seen how they would look on a mopar!

Your car with that color combo really looks nice with the steelies imo.
Thank you! I am going for something unique and my own. I know it’s not factory spec but the car would need a lot to go that route so just doing things my own way. I have a lot of respect and admiration for those who get every correct bolt and screw on their cars - just don’t have the time or $ to do that.

Anyways - thank you! And mopar440bbody just wanted to give you a visual since we have basically the same car - I’m a visual person so hope that helps your decision in whatever you decide to do. Take care!

I’ve put some GM Chrome 454 SS rims on a mopar before and they look nice :)

@Reamzer has switched wheels on his 500. It looks great! I think he skipped 15's though.

Be aware that 15" magnums will be either aftermarket or ford. Mopar never made 15" magnums. The aftermarket 15s will fit, the Ford versions may not be big enough in the hub area for mopar disc brake hubs.

I’m pretty biased as I love the Cragar SS rims. I would also go with 15” and the Cragar rims. They look smart on any car...

Just another guy's opinion..but as much as I love the old-school cool of Cragars, 14s just look a bit too small on a B-body, especially the 66-67s. If it was me I'd clean them up and list them for sale on the A-body site (to try to keep them in the family:)) and score the 15s for that beauty, and go for at least a 245 on the back. If you prefer to match all four, I would go wider up front to match the rears, not skinnier in the back..hey post a few pics when your done!

I have always loved my 15" Cragars. They have been on at least one of my cars since around 85'. They are on my red 70 now.

Love the look of the old school Cragers. Just did mine recently.

can you explain that further?
pics? bolt pattern chevy versus dodge??
thanks in advance.
It was a while ago....some imperials (can’t remember the years) were 5x5 bolt pattern. I also remember putting them on the front of a different mopar - I think I changed hubs. It was 10+ years ago.

GM has a different bolt pattern
See below :) (or above I guess in reference to my response ha)

I also welded in new centers on those rims for some applications that had a universal bolt pattern - which obviously made it a lot easier. I’ll see if I have a pic.

I just bought 215/70/14 RWL from ebay (discounttiredirect) for about $100 a piece and free shipping.

I am replacing 235/60/14 (also still available) that were too wide for my 14x5.5 rallye wheels.

Don't let the 60 vs 70 profile throw you, they are only 20mm (3/4 to 1 inch) narrower and about the same sidewall height.
