1967 coronet pro touring

No new pics to post but car is progressing right along. Seems that everytime I pull a part off the car I find 3 more that need replacing. Recently pulled the alternator to replace the dipstick since the tube had a crimp in it. Got tired of spending 10 minutes to put the dipstick back in everytime I checked the oil. Anyway to get the alternator off I had to pull the radiator because the bolt was to long. So after pulling the radiator I see i need a new lower hose setup. The radiator I have is a Champion with dual fans but its got the upper and lower on the driver side so there was a redneck engineered lower hose with 2 hoses and a copper connector pipe in between. Replaced this with a 36 inch stainless flex hose. While in the area I pulled the crank pulley because it was held in place by 2 bolts instead of 6. After pulling that off I noticed that the balancer is trashed, dry rot galore. Several hundred dollars later I have a new TCI rattler but not after having to return it twice becasue they kept putting Chevy balancers in the Mopar part box. Anyway while Im there I decide to fit up a crank trigger wheel for phase 2 while I have easy access to the area. Turns out that the jeep 4.2 crank wheel electromotive sells will mount up to a small block LA motor. Since last check in I also got the rear back on the ground, completed the hyperco leaf install, new suregrip rearend, panhard bar install, and did the Mopar Action jeep liberty rear disk conversion. Also got passanger seat mocked up. Anyway if I remember ill try and post pics of all the progress soon. Trying to get back into painting mood so I can finish spraying my trim. If I dont get motivated soon I may farm whats left out.

Been building custom exhaust the last 2 days. Swapped out the long tube headers for these ceramic coated jba headers I bought when I had a d150 Warlock. The long tubes were a pain and were causing issues with the larger torsion bars and steering linkage.

First start in over a yr. All good so far except a pinhole in the stainless lower radiator hose. Was going to post video but files to large

Spent the weekend fixing some paint issues. The wife and brother gave me S for having a cowboys car so part of fixing the paint will consist of respraying a mid coat with a color change pearl. If I didnt have to fix some major paint issues I would live with it but this gives me an excuse to work on my paint skills.

Had a major setback with the engine needing to be flushed after cam was wiped but getting back on track. Proflow 4 80% complete and been workimg on my cold air intake system the last week or so.
