Hey guys, I’ve got an opportunity. A guy in Utah I’m buddies with gave me a lead on 1970 Plymouth Cuda 440 six pack shaker hood 4-speed Dana 60 super track pack car. Old lady’s husband died and I could get it for 15k it is rusty but holy **** it’s an all original 1 owner with vin, fender tag, and build sheet in the car. Interior is all there. I have the first dibs on it but curious if I flip it, what are the numbers going for those cars?

If it is as you describe, it sounds like a no brainer. I guess the big question here is, how rusty is rusty?
It’s all there, but... as we know mopars love to rust. It needs lower quarters, trunk pan, trunk pan extensions. And possibly not sure about the floorboards. All easy work I can do. Just thinking about the selling price on those cars all matching numbers with all the documents.

You could join the e-bodies forum, and ask there, but I wouldn’t pass it up in a heartbeat! For Hagerty’s valuation:

Definitely looking good. I don’t want to pass up on this at all. I’m going to try and put some money together to get it. I’ve built plenty of Cuda’s for my clients, but I haven’t ever come across a deal like this. With everything there. And it being a 1 owner car with all the documentation. I figure it should pull a premium restored correctly.

I'd say it doesn't matter how rusty it is. A 1970 Cuda 440 Six Barrel shaker with a super track pack is very close to the holy grail Hemi. It is one of the most desirable muscle cars on the planet. I'd buy it in a heartbeat as long as it is (mostly) complete.

You should be able to squeak another $10k out of it instantly with little to no work.

E bodys carry stupid prices. If that cuda is all its said to be that is a cheap price even if its rotted to the windows. It also may be a low production car. Its worth a look if you want to spend.

Here in NY thats a "clean car" if thats all it needs. Were excited if it still has rocker panels.

Sounds like a very nice find if all checks out as described.

As an FYI, there were 1,755 1970 440-6 Cuda hardtops built to spec for the USA; 902 four speeds and 853 automatics. Canadian and export figures are unknown and it's also unknown how many 440-6 Cuda's left the factory with the shaker option, painted green, etc... etc... The 440-6 hardtops were built either at Hamtramck or at the Los Angeles assembly plants.

Less typing, more buying:D

I agree. I messed around working to get information on a 65 Corvette that was a steal - I even helped the guy get the thing running. Well, I suddenly found out that he sold it because someone came and flashed cash at him and it was gone.

If this is what you describe, you need to move on it or someone else will!

This is just the school of hard knocks speaking here...

Pictures? Seems like a odd question. When this ole compute is at the finger tips with so much info.
