Been busy cleaning things up on these heads. All went well, should flow well. Opened up the bolt holes for 1/2” studs also.

Back in the boxes. Guess it’s time to decide on some rocker assemblies and valve covers.

Making great headway there. Do things right and do it once. I did lots of things twice. Lol.
Like my relays, I initially had them tucked high up on the firewall where the heater box used to be. Not no more. No more laying *** upside down in the staging lane for me.
Water pump and fan relays instant access and a spare in the glove box.

and in some cases, 3rd times a charm,,,been there. after burning up a cheap 40 amp relay from o'riellys, i switched them all over to spal 40 amp units, haven't lost 1 yet, after i get the dash frame painted, it alls goes back together and run it! no hurry though,,since everythings cancelled.....

I went from pulling the trans to fix a leaky front seal to having the snout replaced and then having the drive plate and ring gear replaced because the drive plate had a crack in it when they went to pressure test it! Not overly happy with Turbo Action right now. Chance Transmissions made it right! Replaced some steels and bushings while I was at it.

For all my heavy draw stuff , pump ignition box tbrake , i use 100A electronic relays .

gained alot of ground today on the new dash, all electrical componets that i wanted r now working, wipers fought me like m_________r, fuel switch is wired to key, water pump and fans r not. so i can run them independately if nessacary. car will run again now . glove box door needs more tweaking. a few minor things to do and reinstall finish trim. really cleaned things up...the battery cut off in the dash is nice. also 1 still in back of car. i'm sure there will be some minor tweaking of the new msd7al3 , lots of functions that r all hooked up.

Make sure that glove box door latch works good. Cause when you let the trans brake button go and the door flops open it can put you on the trailer. Been there.

glove box door is a safty concern ? no trans brake. just a foot car with a button on the steering wheel for rpm launch control.

It’s a distraction at the wrong time.

My mechanic of choice has finally given me an appointment to get the multiple parts and systems installed on my Roadrunner, and the GTO will follow. The Roadrunner goes in June 10th, with so much to do, I'll talk with him to see if he can get everything done by the 5th of July or thereabouts, because I'm going to Carlisle for the first time.
If he isn't certain about getting everything done, I'll have to decide what to get done in time for me to make the trip. Tomorrow I'm going to finally take my factory aluminum 6bbl dual plane intake off, and see how the Weiand 6bbl low profile tunnel/cross ram intake fits under my N96 hood. I haven't mounted any of the airbox or vacuum stuff, and the Air Grabber scoop is fixed in the open position.
It would be nice to have the Weiand on my car for Carlisle, and because I'd like the Weiand to take the place of the dual plane 6bbl, "I gots ta know"...

You can use a pressure switch in the brake line to control the 2 step. That eliminates the wiring wrapping around the wheel. Remember 5 turns lock to lock. That's a bundle.

The Weiand 6bbl intake doesn't fit under my hood. I'm putting the factory 6bbl intake back on, and I have a thread going regarding hood options, but I'm set on my thoughts about the right solution for me.

Dart looks great
Car swap day yesterday. The Plymouth came home and the hobby Dart went into storage, less engine. Already been digging into the 64. A few off-season pics.

First time for the Dart outdoors. Ready to roll into it's summer spot.

The 64 fired right up with a few good pumps, last time they'll be together till fall.

The hood plenum is removed, 16 X 4.5" element and X-Treme top ready for test fit.

Hood scoop lays dead flat on top of the air filter lid. Happy to be able to fit that big filter!

Installed battery charger posts in the rear plate area today, no more opening the trunk to charge the battery.

Sorry, I'm just messing with ya'/busting your balls Steve @biomedtechguy

are you going to put the QA1 suspension parts on
good  distracted by a different newer shinny toy,
the clutch hit-master (?) (timed electronic clutch delay)
then the rear suspension, was it triangulated or short 4 link
then the Calvert CalTracs, mono leafs, slider/rollers & different shocks
& a now also the 540cid stroker build, alum. block
& 240 AFR or is it 270 AFR's in MW now
or the multiple Weiand 6bbl tunnel cross/rams
or now a taller air-grabber style "bulge" hood too

maybe get some better rear tires :poke:

focus man focus, git r' dun

I'm having a hard time keeping up

good luck, happy spending

I'm laughing my *** off Budnicks!
:thumbsup: :lol::drinks::rofl:
I know, I can only imagine how many of y'all, especially the more experienced, hard core guys have got to be :rolleyes::rolleyes:
but many of the redirections that have come about are from advice, comments, criticism, or things I see others do.
The QA1 K-member and front suspension parts, w/the SPC UCAs, is part of this round, and was purchased November 2018. Hard to believe you and I were discussing that that long ago.
As far as the plethora, no-BONANZA of additional parts and systems, well the Dakota Digital gauges were bought 4 years ago, the Wraptor and Vintage Air, power steering and Wilwood stuff was because the Mrs. decided she wanted a bunch of stuff for the GTO, and has already got a bunch, and really needs that 5th gear OD since I swapped in the 3.80s, and cut loose with the credit card (bills she pays) and I truly, TRULY cut some deals that I couldn't even get again today, it was the "perfect storm".
So a lot of the boxes got checked off much faster than expected, so that allows me to move on the last or more obscure or most expensive "list items" like the stroker, the Weiand, and the hood that the Weiand requires.
Look, I've been to several funerals for close friends my age +/- 2 years, and I didn't see any of them taking any of their stuff with them, but I believe that they all had some wishes or dreams left to fulfill.
The things I'm doing with my Roadrunner, those are some of MY fondest wishes and dreams.
Thanks to all of you for your help, advice, and even the :poke::poke:.

nothing wrong with wanting to do something you want to do nothing wrong with dreaming
