  • (Ward Cleaver) "Well, you boys are very quiet tonight. What are you thinking about?"
  • (Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver) "I was just thinkin' what I'd do if I was a pig eatin' peoples ribs."
  • (June Cleaver) "Beaver, please."

  • (Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver) "You wanna' mess around later?"
  • (Larry Mondello) "I can't, I'm grounded."
  • (Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver) "How come?"
  • (Larry Mondello) "My father caught me eating pie in bed."

  • (Ward Cleaver) "Let's face it, June, Wally and Eddie have been friends for four or five years now; nothing's ever really happed."
  • (June Cleaver) "But Eddie has that look about him that makes you think something's always about to happen."

Eddie Haskell: Hey Wally, nobody's home. Let's call up some girls and pretend we're talent scouts.

June Cleaver: [Enters the room.] Hello, Eddie.

Eddie Haskell: Oh. Hi, Mrs. Cleaver. Gee Mrs. Cleaver, your hair looks real pretty today.

June Cleaver: Well, you should know Eddie, being a talent scout.

We actually have one of our neighbors that their names are Harry and Joan Cleaver. They also have 2 daughters. Yes......us old guys couldn't resist when it was Garage night every thursday. We would give the 1 liners to Harry. He has a great sense of humor......

Ken Osmond, who made Eddie Haskell on Leave it to Beaver a TV icon, has died at the age of 76. Eddie was always endearing and amusing. Much of that is because of Osmond's great portrayal. Well, another piece of my childhood has gone. RIP. #EddieHaskell
