When I purchased this car there was a broadcast sheet in a huge box of papers that the PO gave me. Now here is the kicker, when I pulled the carpet I found two more broadcast sheets with at least one of them belonging to this car. The other sheet I can't tell as sequential number is missing but all the options are as they should be. Appears that the sequence number on one is 2100374 and on the odd ball one is 1100???? and the TIME on Line 6 is different than the other two so maybe it was a different car with the same options IDK, but the other two sheets are identical. Just curious?????

I personally have one that had 4. The one under the carpet wasn't saveable, so I trashed it.

Would the sequence number change depending on what department/production section held a sheet. Like 1 100374 (maybe suspension). 2 100374 (maybe engine group), 3 100373 (maybe interior group) etc up to 5 100374 or was it something different?

When I got my '70 charger 4 1/2 years ago the 1st thing I did was to start taking the interior apart. Didn't know much about broadcast sheets except that they existed. I wound up with 3 sheets and didn't play any attention to them and saved them. one of them got really tore up getting it freed up. All 3 were in separate places under seats and behind rear seat back cushion. It wasn't until much later on that I looked at them and discovered 2 of them were for 2 other cars. Mine came out the best condition just by luck. These other 2 cars were not sequential and their build dates were different from each other and mine. Made me wonder just how crazy things must get on the assembly line. My car was made in St.Louis. How about yours

The don’t build cars in VIN number order and the date is a scheduled production date. They are not firmly set. The common factor will be the interior trim code.

Definitely heard of cars without the proper one for that car, but having someone elses sheet. If you have at least one for your car, BINGO!

Still trying to figure out what the "Add 2 after 100 579" was. A part number?, but it is short a number.

I parted out a 69 Chrysler 300 years ago and found 5...one was bolted between the front subframe and the RH front bumper mount!

It is relatively common to find build sheets for a different car with the same interior code under the rear seat.

My 73 had that plus 2 sheets correct for the car under the front seat, and three more sheets with line orders ("last job" printed in margin) and a "do not build" sheet for a 1972 Charger.

I still can't find anyone who can explain these or has ever seen any like them, including two former editors of Mopar Muscle.
