Mystery connector.

From what I see in the schematic there is only one 4 pin connector and its for the tach Wires will be Grey with tracer, Violet,White and Yellow. One side goes to the tach and the other goes to a tach sending unit. I can be wrong but thats the only 4 pin harness I see in the drawing.

Black, Yellow, White, Grey are the wire colors for connector to the Tach Sending Unit. The connector for the Tach plugs into your connector. Your wires should be as BBRR stated previously but I do not see the white wire on the diagram. Maybe the mate to the yellow wire. According to the 1966 Charger Sup. Manual p15, there should be a yellow wire from your dash Tach to that plug.

Hmmm....And the 66 book shows that that Tach plug should have only 3 wires. Reason I was wondering about the white wire. And I do not see that style of plug anywhere else on the electrical diagrams. Are the color of the wires as grey w/T, violet, and yellow?

Most white wires are the 200-250 volt illumination for the dash. In 66 it included the radio and console. All electroluminescent.

We are getting warm, maybe?

I've never seen the animal in question to know the plug or the location.
Very helpful person.
