Thanx for letting me join! My first 'real' car (that actually ran, that is) was a hand-me-down 56 Chrysler New Yorker Station Wagon in 1963. A few Chryslers and Valiants later, mostly $75 clunkers, when I got out of the Navy in 67 I bought my Dream Car. 1967 Barracuda, Formula S, 383, 4 bbl, 4 spd, Midnight Blue Metallic. (Admittedly very immature on my part. I was married, a 2 year old daughter and another on the way, earning $2.75/hr. Worked 2 full time jobs and pumped gas on weekends to put food on the table, rent and pay for my car. Not the best plan...) Thus began my love of the 383!
Fast forward to 2011. Recently widowed I decided to have a 1923 TBucket built for me. 90+% of all TBuckets have small block Chevy 350 power (or lack thereof!) I specified a Mopar Big Block 383. It's the only one that I'm aware of in the Phoenix area. It's a beast!

Just tell everyone what it is..."A 383" and most will assume it's a stroker Chevy small block. Welcome to the board from the Great White North.
