Im converting my 318poly/push button auto Polara into a 440/4-speed and was wondering if anyone here has done it before and could offer an outline of the parts/process you did. Cutting the floor for a hump change? Suspension/brake upgrades? Clutch pedal assembly and linkage? Things like that. Thanks in advance

You'll have to determine if you're going to install a pre-'65 4spd or later to address the mount and driveshaft differences.
The big block swap just needs different motor mounts and wiring basically. The power steering pump brackets and pulley are different between the two if you have power steering. The rad top inlet location is different as well, but some have used the SB rad anyway and the RB block could cause hood clearance issues depending on what intake manifold and air filter you use.

The car actually came with the RB motor mounts and I have a 1964 B-body 4-speed in the way (although it’s currently lost in fedex. They’re “tracing” it whatever that means.) the driveshaft I plan on having cut/replacing because im putting in a (forgive me) Ford 8.8 rearend in.
What about converting the car to a clutch shifted car? Pedal assy, linkage, cutting the floor and putting in a new hump

Asked the same question on my 62, thread here somewhere.
Gathered parts and pulled engine/trans but have yet to install.
Engine mounts, modify trans mount, oil pan, pickup, pedals, linkage, trans, bell, driveshaft, shifter/rods, hump, upper/lower shifter boot.
I might stick with the stock torsion bars and radiator.
Also got the correct power steering pump, water pump housing, alternator brackets and dash plate for a 62.
Pedals for a 62-65 will work, 62 has an extra bracket that is not needed on other years.
I'll be getting disc on the front but keep it manual.
