Welcome fellow Michigander! The time spent with you're son working on this project will provide joy and happiness to both of you. Thanks it will, my oldest graduated from UNOH and my middle son never much cared about cars or anything Machanical until this year, he interned at Hormel in Nebraska as a Machanical Eng. He graduated this year with his Chemiscal Eng and loves all of it now and wants to learn more, its been awesome transformation and a joy. Yes both cars are 440's the red one a 6 pack non original. Wish I knew how to post some pics...

Hey everyone, I've been a MOPAR fan since I took my first ride in my cousin's 69 GTX age 13ish and couldn't get the $50 bill off the dash board because I was pinned in the seat. So since then my dream car has been a 69 GTX, got one about 30 ish years ago, tore it apart got it painted which took 3 years and still wasn't finished, then moved, then moved again and it still sits in my garage, bought a running 70 440 6 4 speed, now my son and I have just started putting the 69 back together, and he loves these forums so I thought I would see what it's all about.
Thanks Mateg'day from Australia

Thanks yes its been amazing, my oldest graduated from UNOH and my middle he had no interest in anything machanical until he went to intern at Hormel in Nebraska last summer as a Mach Eng lol and graduated this year with his Chemical Eng degree now he's all about it. Its been great.Welcome from the KC area. I am envious of your adventure with your son. Don't get much better than that. Enjoy the process. Best, B.
