The clutch has oil on it I already know since the input shaft seal leaks. It slips a little when pushed hard. What is a good replacement clutch? 73 Charger, new engine going in soon will make around 550 HP over 600 Ft#. Clutch needs to handle that. Still want it easy enough to drive on the street, it is a 99% street cruiser.

Are you sure it’s leaking from the input shaft and not the engine rear main seal?

I was in the bell housing replacing the fork a while back. It is loaded with goo in there. I will know for sure this week when I drop the trans.

Mine was the same way. I’m not done yet but I’m replacing rear mainSeal, pilot bearing, throw out bearing, flywheel, clutch, pressure plate And rebuilding the transmission. I’m doing everything myself and I’ll have over $1200 into it and I still need to rebuild the shifter and I’m replacing the drive shaft to a slip joint style.
