Plastic cars lost

We experienced a similar fate in the NYC tri State with storm Sandy. Estimates were over 500K vehicles lost to saltwater.

A man's car of any kind, are his pride and joy, that sucks!!

God the insurance company most of been pissed when the had to pay $60k for the 10 or so cars!

That does suck though

damn , the world is a different place now without that junk, how will we ever move on lol

Still don't get it when people set up their lives down stream of a damn dam. I'm bad enough living close to the coast known for hurricanes but at least things won't get swept away because of a failed dam.

A 'damn dam' Cranky?:D

Pontiac came up with a good idea, but poorly executed it. Bean counters (probably). Of course, the Big 3 cars from the 1980s are nothing to write home about.

Almost bought the last rendition V6.

Exactly right.
The Fiero ended up being a parts bin car.
Chevette front suspension and Citation front suspension in the rear IIRC.
Then with the metal tubes running from the engine to the radiator up front caused problems.
Then when they installed the V6 it was tilted like a slanty but front to rear. But they didn't change the oil pan and pickup to compensate. High rpm use resulted in oil starvation. My nephew trashed two engines-the original and the reman replacement.
It was originally supposed to be an enthusiat's car but they turned it into a commuter.
It got pretty good in later years but by that time It was too late.

Fiat actually did first (X1/9); Pontiac just poorly ripped them off. Toyota did a much better job of it.

Not a huge fan of the Fiero,
but that's a bummer for any car guy...

Loose everything been collecting for years...

Hopefully some flood insurance

sucks either way

I almost bought a blue 88 T top GT v6 5 speed.

Quite possibly the rarest fiero ever made.

They lend themselves very well to quality re-bodying and I have seen a few Ferrari 308s that you can't tell aren't real.

pontiac also actually produced a 308 body version and were sued.
