America's Most Beautiful Cars Ranked

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder:eek:

Ranked by who?

The same people that have rappers in the rock n roll hall of fame?

Shocked to see my H3 Hummer there. I do believe it's on the edge of being collectible.

I don't even agree with a few I like on his list
in the order he had them

#25 57 Nomad
(should be much higher on that specific list)
this is one of the best looking wagons ever made
IMO it should be higher on that list
I personally like the 49-51 Ford Woodies better

#24 55 C-300
very cool car, a early muscle car/luxury car, great powerplant

#23 58 Bonneville
I love them big ol' GM boats, the Old in that era too
I think it's an acquired taste

#21 63 Avanti
could go either way on that, it was relatively innovative,
styling was ahead of it's time

#19 57 Desoto Adventurer
(should on that list should be near or at the top)
what a great looking car, for that era, love the fins & styling cues

#16 72 Z28'
IMO the 70 1/2 split bumper, was a better car, more power,
pretty much same styling, why would they chose the 72 smogger

#15 2017 & #10 2005 Ford GT
these are beautiful sports cars, powerful & great handling
the 2005 was a bargin when it 1st came out,
the 2017 & on IMO is way to expensive for a Ford product

#13 57 Bel-air HT
(should be way higher on that specific list)
this car is an iconic car, hands down, should be in the top 10

#12 56 Corvair Monza Spyder
my sister had one, Turquoise & white,
I think they look like a mini 66-67 Chevelle, a GM car I really liked,
Ralph Nader did it in

#9 67 Camaro
great looking car, albeit my preference is the 68, for the gen 1
the Rally Sport/Super Sport (or Z28 optioned) with the hide away grill,
is even better

#8 68 Corvette
the 68-72 is a great looking body style for the Stingray Macko Shark
it is list worthy but a better version than shown, like a L88 would be nice

#7 67 Cougar
I did like the Cougars far better than the Mustang Notchback Coupe
the XR7 & the Eliminators were far better looking Cougars up-to 69-70
too big after that, too much crap piled on

#2 63 Stingray
it is a great looking car, personally the 61-62 convert., a better looking car
65 BB 396 425hp with side pipes in Marina Blue is much better

#1 63 Riviera,
albeit are a beautiful car IMO it's not even the best looking year of Riviera,
65 Is hands down the best year

the rest I'm not sure how they even made it on that list
sounds like someone's personal list of favorites, not a real actual polling

IMO My #1
would be a 68 Charger R/T, QQ1 or GG1 & Black
any of the below, should have been considered
68 RR LL1 in the Turquoise's, with black hood treatment & red pinstripe

So pretty!!! It was a great vehicle for being a geologist in the oil field. That red dirt is from working not playing. I might drive 600 miles to get to a location and the last quarter mile they would just scrape off the crops with a dozier. I pulled out a lot of trucks with this. Especially duallys, they got stuck in the slightest sand or mud.

"Ranked" is subjective unless the author wants to conduct a wide spectrum survey from various age groups and vastly large numbers. Millennial's are going to like cars of a different era as baby boomers do, and as our greatest gen would. Some in the younger gen's couldn't tell a Pontiac from a Chrysler. Get a group of automotive designers from days of old who are still alive (too late) or people who have a keen eye for cars; but still would be subjective aside from simple polling on their favorites. Still....ahh...subjective! Put a bunch of GM guys and Mopar guys together and guess which cars are gonna rank higher? LOL

From an aesthetic viewpoint, the two other brands have a couple of noteworthy examples IMO:
'68 Corvette Mako Shark Convertible
'70 Pontiac TransAm
'64 Ford Galaxy 500
''66 Ford Galaxy 500
