Thank you to all who have served, and especially those who gave all.

Our nation's most important day of remembrance. It is a simple reminder, that freedom ... isn't free. They gave theirs, so we could have ours. A debt we can never repay.

My wife's Dad was in Darby's rangers. Her mom was a Wave. We make it a point to visit Fort Snelling every Memorial weekend.

My Dad was a flight engineer in B25's and B29's, but was a bit younger and enlisted late in the war. I visited his grave this morning up at church already. The locals make it a point to put flags on all grave sites that have a Veteran star in place. It's always impressive.

I spent 4 yrs in the Coast Guard, helicopters mostly, but C130's and HU16's some too. Always feel inadequate compared to the folks. Thanks to all who served!

A salute to my dad and uncles for WW2 A salute to my cousin on the wall NAM A salute to all serving past and present

I disagreed with your feeling of being inadequate. Never feel that your are lessor for having served your Country in The Coast Guard. Your service is just as equal to my 34 years in the Air Force and very important too. The Coast Guard is now the 5th Branch recognized and then the new Space Force. I commend your Patriotism and your service to the Land of The Free. Hand Salute!!! cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:
