Redoing a shed thought i would try Benjamin Moore paint. Nice quality paint, very thick. Finish looks very nice. I choose the satin lower gloss finish for water and dirt repelancy, rather then the flat finish. Takes awhile to dry, so gets a few bugs in it ,and will sag. First time using it. I tried the big box store brands, ok quality but not very thick high build. Sherwin Williams duration another great paint, but drys very fast in warm weather. Overall i don't paint for a living, but have painted since i was 12 years old did a lot of it. I can notice a difference between big box and specialty paint brands. Regardless what the so called unbiased consumer reports say. What's your thoughts?

You brush or spray? I have a carport that I roofed with metal panels leftover from the days when I built pole barns. Nice metal, but mismatched colors. I have been thinking of rolling and brushing Rustoleum in brown to kind of coordinate with my house shingles.

BM is supposed to be the best as noted by a guy I just had some interior work done by. BM then SW then Behr according to the pros.

Brushed it on, had shed built and the spray job they did started peeling only one month out. Made in November and put outside in the cold the manufacturer said.

BM makes great paint. I had some serious sticker shock the first time I priced it out but if you know a painter with the discount you can start to save a few bucks.
IMO in the end the high price more than makes up for it in longevity and durability. Plus it seems to retain its brightness and color saturation longer than other brands.

My cousin paints for one of those big shops that does large projects like stadiums and swears by the higher end brands like BM and SW.

Should serve you well!

Like they say it's America, you get what pay for.

Great paint. We painted the last 2 houses with it. Even in the south and west exposures, it is holding up well. Yes, it is pricey, but a house exterior is a pain to paint.

I used it for along time great stuff. Tried Behr paint from Home Depot , and it’s some pretty good stuff.

I had to do a ceiling in my Living room/dining room that I had to do a lot of work to. Used Benjamin Moore
waterbourne ceiling paint. WoW! did it look nice after it dried! Flattest matt finish I ever saw.
I'm a firm believer that if you buy quality
paints from BM/SW you will not be disappointed. Great coverage, great hiding, and looks fantastic.
Yes, You get what you pay for.

I use BM Ultra Spec 500 throughout my house.

1. It covers in one coat better than any other paint I've tried.
2. My local independent hardware store carries it.
3. My dad, who painted professionally for 30 years, approved of it.

We use BM exclusively at my Company, we switched from SW, they are comparable, but my guys say BM is better than SW, I think I agree. I have some very deep discounts with both, if you ever have more projects, just PM me and I'll let you use my discounts.
