Please post your picks and let me know if you want to "lock" them in for future weeks. I will put an "L" before either your Pole pick or your race picks to show they've been "locked".
As always, you can always make different picks each week. Your "locked" picks will always be there should you forget to post your race picks, your computer malfunctions or the site should go down temporarily.

Don't forget NASCAR is racing again at Darlington on Wednesday, May 20th, with the green flag dropping at approximately 7:45PM EDT (4:45PM PDT) so get your picks posted.

I could get used to these "Wednesday Night Lights" races. I could also get used to the pandemic "no practice/no qualifying" bit. I think the racing is every bit as good, if not better, than the standard NASCAR formula - and being 1-day events they have got to be a huge cost savings for the teams.
JMO.

Congratulations to 'ocdart' (FABO) for throwing that dart blindfolded and landing on the square of Toyota 500 winner, #11 Denny Hamlin. He picked up -5 bonus points.
Congrats also to 'fishmens67' (FABO), 'moparfan68' (FABO) and 'Snake' (FABO) for correctly picking the race runner-up, #18 Kyle Busch. Each picked up -3 bonus points.

Nice picking. Congrats. I thought about switching to Hamlin too, but didn’t pull the trigger  at least I got some stage points this time.

Next up on the 2020 NASCAR schedule is the NASCAR All-Star Open and NASCAR All-Star Race, both on Wednesday, July 15th at Bristol Motor Speedway. The green flag for the All-Star Open is scheduled for approximately 7:15PM EDT (4:15PDT) so get your picks posted.

I will post the rules for both the 2020 NASCAR All-Star Open and the NASCAR All-Star Race in a separate post.

...and here is that separate post

Just like the past eight years, we're going to treat the 2020 NASCAR All-Star Race next Wednesday (July 15th) just like a normal weekend NASCAR race but with more bonus point opportunity.

All picks for the All-Star Open and the All-Star race events must be posted before 6:00PM EDT (3:00PM PDT) Wednesday, July 15th, before the television coverage of starts on Fox Sports 1.

Here's the weekend schedule:

* The Monster Energy Open, a qualifying race for all drivers not automatically eligible to drive in the All-Star race. There will be three segments to the All-Star Open: 35, 35, and 15 laps, with each stage winner advancing to the All-Star race. Another driver will advance to the All-Star race based on the fan vote.

* There are four stages in this year's Monster Energy All-Star Race -- a 55-lap opening stage, a 35-lap second stage, a 35-lap third stage and a 15-lap final dash to the finish. Only green-flag laps will be counted in the final 10-lap final dash to the finish, and NASCAR overtime rules will apply to all stages.

Confused yet?

So, how are points going to work? Pick two drivers as always - driver picks can be either already locked-in All-Star drivers or non-locked drivers that will be driving in the All-Star Open.

If you pick a driver from the All-Star Open and they advance to the All-Star race by either winning a stage of the All-Star Open or win the fan vote, you will pick up -1 bonus point.
All other game scoring will be based on All Star Race qualifying and finish position only.
If your driver wins the final 15-lap segment of the All Star Race you'll get a -5 bonus, 2nd-place driver pick will get a -3 point bonus. Also, the driver pick winning any of the first three stages of the All-Star race will get a -1 point bonus. If the same driver pick wins multiple segments of the All-Star Race they'll get -1 point bonus for each.
As always, finishing positions from the All Star Race for your driver picks will be averaged. But not all current drivers will be starting the 140-lap All-Star race.
Only 20 drivers will start the All-Star race event, including the Fan Vote Winner and the three stage winners from the All-Star Open preliminary race.
If you pick a driver that doesn't make it out of the Monster Energy Open, you'll get an 21st-place finish.

No picks at all will be counted as 21 points since only 21 cars will be starting the All-Star Race stages.

Here's the list of drivers guaranteed entry to the All-Star Race. They'll be joined by the Fan Vote Winner and the three stage winners of the Monster Energy Open:

#1 Kurt Busch
#2 Brad Keselowski
#4 Kevin Harvick
#6 Ryan Newman
#9 Chase Elliott
#11 Denny Hamlin
#12 Ryan Blaney
#16 Justin Haley
#18 Kyle Busch

#19 Martin Truex Jr.
#20 Erik Jones
#22 Joey Logano
#41 Cole Custer
#42 Matt Kenseth
#48 Jimmie Johnson
#88 Alex Bowman

Pick any driver not on the above list and double any bonus points earned by that driver. You could get -10 points for an event win, -6 points for an event runner-up, -2 points for any All-Star race stage wins.
Not interested in any driver except for those already locked in, you say? How about #10 Aric Almirola, #14 Clint Bowyer, #20 Erik Jones, #21 Matt DiBenedetto, #24 William Byron, or #43 Bubba Wallace? Any of them or any other non-qualified NASCAR driver could easily win either the All-Star Open or the Fan Vote. Pick a non-qualified driver and possibly earn double bonus points.
So, do you feel lucky? Well, do you?

Vote for your favorite driver if he's not already in the set field and try to get him in via the Sprint Fan Vote.

And of you just want to keep your already "locked in" picks...that's OK too.

Good luck all! Let me know if you have any questions.

Crazy end to the race. I’ll leave my picks for the all star race.
