Old springs are starting to give out looking at replacing with the Mopar Super Stock Springs and just wondering what part number guys are using for the Rear Extensions needed for the SS springs. There is a couple of different numbers but I'm thinking 4120080 to use with SS Springs 3690454 ( using 2 right side springs )

You may want to check out ESPO Springs. Remember seeing a lot bad stuff about MP SS springs on here. Never bought the MP ones but do have a set from ESPO.

I used to buy from St. Louis Spring Co. They made them to order and would produce springs with extra arch, if you need it.

What car did you put the ESPO springs on and do you have a number ? Where did you purchase them

I put them on a 67 R/T. I had ESPO build the correct spring pack as a ‘stock’ spring with extra leaf on the right side. No part number to reference. They’ll build what ever you want, I would thing they can replicate a super stock spring pack. Contact them directly.

Car sits up a little higher than I think stock should be.

What do you use the car for, street, street/strip, drag race only? ESPO's are were real good as a street spring for my Satellite, but I headed toward mostly racing & switched to SS springs. Give ESPO a call with as much info as you can give them, use, weight, power level, etc.

Been emailing back and forth with Laura at ESPO. I like the idea of not having to use the 2 inch extension bracket with the ESPO springs as they are a full 58 inches, but the SS Mopar springs even with the cost of the bracket are less expensive then the ESPO's. I had the SS Springs on my 68 Dart GTS and really liked them as I didn't need the 2" bracket for the A body and the ride wasn't that bad either and the handling improved a lot. Decisions Decisions

My 2 cents..go with the cheaper SS springs now and they might look good for a year and then you’ll be replacing them again. Spring (pun intended) for the espo ones now and save in the long run.

That's what I'm thinking, I use the car for the street only. No desire to go to the strip but do like to play around on the street.

The Mopar XHD springs are a good package also. I was going to suggest Eaton Detroit, but they are WAY expensive. Mancini sells the Mopar XHD's.

I had the mopar HD leaf springs on mine, brand new and they were flat within 500 miles of normal driving.

I have heard that about the newer SS springs too. My SS springs are from mid '90's. Not sure about their durability.

MP 440/HEMI springs that I bought for the Charger were made in Mexico. Put them on the car and it dropped lower than the old springs.
Went to dealer, guess what! No warranty on parts numbers starting with MP. Parts Manager set up 3 meetings with the Chrysler Rep who was a no show.
Manger cut a cheque for the total I paid, told me to keep the springs and said he was sorry. Completely unexpected to get the cheque.
I had new springs made. Another friend had same problem with his 67 Satellite, he kept the springs and added a leaf. That was about 9 years ago, car still sits nice.

If you're concerned about price, you might give St. Louis Spring Co. a call. When I bought my last set (15 years ago) they beat everyone else in price, and they made me a great set of springs exactly to my specs. (314) 533-2132

You might just be surprised at what disassembling, cleaning, replacing the galvanized interliners and plastic wear plates will do for them. I certainly was..
