My '65 Dodge Console

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has ever swapped out the '65 OEM automatic shifter for an aftermarket shifter? I want to retain the console and factory appearance. I realize this was an odd year for Chrysler.....it was the first year after the push button was eliminated.

If someone has, what brand of shifter assembly did you use and what issues did you have with the swap?

Not if you are using the 1965 tranny.
Remember there are 2 cables, one for the gears an one for park.

I used a factory '65 floor shifter. Seems like it came from a Barracuda.
