Finally got my 1968 Sport Satellite painted

Great color; I'd like you to post a photo of it looking a bit darker like you mentioned, if possible. Great looking car!
I will give it a try......flouresent lighting is where it appears darker.... It has a LOT of metallic in it..................

First body repair-painter, I had to take my car out of his shop. He has always done good work for me, but something happened to him. He just stopped working, wouldn't even do his Insurance work , and the Insurance co. 's stopped giving him business...Me too.
Tough time finding someone who would finish someone else initial work . Not knowing what he used for materials and workmanship--could make the painters work fail and they might get the bad reputation.... I can understand that.
I was well pleased with the guy that did finish and paint it. Did what he said he would do, and when . Stuck with his estimate-- a few minor flaws , but very reasonable on the cost . About 1/2 of what other painters quoted. We will put about 3-4 thousand miles on a year, so it is bound to get more flaws---- I am happy with it.......................MO

Congratulations on breaking out of painters hell. I just rescued my car from the same predicament and am going to do it myself.
That color is fantastic! Looks great.

Looks Great !! Thanks for sharing. Still waiting in paint jail for my 68 GTS to be painted......:BangHead::BangHead:

They had my car done and kept telling me they just needed to put 50 miles on it to make sure everything was ok...9 mos later I told them I'm coming for the car, 50 miles or not.

Thanks Kern. Yes, Dodge had that same color for 1968 only , but a little different code number and IIRC it was called " bright blue" I think the next year (1969) was the first of the B5 blues.................MO
I’ve seen it. It won’t last a season before pealing off..... lol. You got this time baby.
