Can you post a pic with the cover removed? Willing to ship or pick-up only?

I didn't want to take the cover off right away because it looks like it has not been removed and I thought someone might value that. I did look into the fill hole and intervals look clean ring gear is dated consistent with the assembly date. Obviously prefer pick up but can ship if you make arrangements.

That rearend is going to need completely disassembled before anyone is going to use it. Taking the cover off is not going to hurt anything and verify that the internals are in good condition. This will only help with the sale.

Is anyone in the area, who is willing to check it out for me? I have agreed to buy it, but would love it if a well known member could set their eyes on it for me? It appears to be in Warwick, PA 18974

i agree with this , leave it sealed

If it sat for over 3 decades, and wasnt rotated, someone will want to see the ring gear. It has to come off anyway, and if it shows signs of rust after purchase, those are never fun threads. Being this is your first post, I think that would be wise since no one here knows you from Adam. No offense intended.
