We know they sit on the wings for photo shoots, but I was wondering if any girls have purchased/owned a Daytona or Superbird (not with a partner/spouse/friend/significant other)? The time period doesn't matter: could be new off the showroom floor, in the past sometime, or current owner.

I remember meeting a lady from Mo that had one. Her son also had one. They were both blue.this would have been in the 90s

my cousin has a superbird she bought brand new and still has it

There was/is a lady in the San Francisco area that had a bird about 5 years ago, might still have it.

Man I knew bought a His & Her pair brand new in 1970. His, White Hemi 4spd and Lemontwist 6 bbl auto for her.

I bought my Superbird in 1990 from the original owner. It was his wife's daily driver for the first 3 plus years, I was told.

Comments I found on Jay Leno's garage when he drove Jeff Dunham's vehicle:

"In the mid eighties, an older woman that worked at the local bank near where I lived in Orange City ,Fla., owned one. Try as I might, she would not sell me that car. I even offered to trade her my nearly new K car, but nothing. My heart always sinks when I think about it all these years later! Your good friend Vinny in good old Fla."

"Very nice Superbird!! I had a hemi Dodge Daytona . Dark green with white interior. Brought my daughter home from birth at hospital in it. Should have kept it!! Not too great on mileage. See, girls appreciate cars too!!"

"My cousin ( A Female ) had one of these in the Lime Green color-I always thought these were cool."

Dana 12 bolt is always relevant. LOL

JoAnn out of the Bay Area has a EK2 Superbird... I don't recall her name but there's a woman out of Utah? Arizona? who owns a couple SuperBirds & a Hemi Daytona.... Also owns something like 16 Taco Bells so there's plenty of gas to power the cars....

It is not a Superbird,or Daytona, but I bought my FY1 yellow 70 Charger R/T SE 440 4 speed car from a lady. Her father gave it to her brand new as a graduation present from high school. She drove it until 1981 when I bought it from her. She used to carpool to work, because it used too much gas! My mom also drove a 70 Charger R/T SE from 1970 until 1982.

Post 10 bottom pic-

That 70 Super Bee bulge hood looks right on that Bird.

Agreed!

My parents were offered a new yellow one ("left over") at Normandin's Chrysler Plymouth in San Jose, CAL when they went down there to order a new 1971 Road Runner back in the day.

Here is a couple pics of those 2 cars in my driveway several years ago. You would about die if you knew what he paid for them.
You'd die if you knew how little $'s I have into mine as well! But it was a damn chunk of change when I was only 28... 30 years ago.
