Looking for a few folks

Am I crazy to think the 225s look good? I’m leaning towards narrow tires but the big block is just going to incinerate them lol

Nope, in fact I keep going down in size. I started with 275s. Now I'm at 245s with 15"x8" rims and want to go down to 225s on 15"x7". Maybe it's the over 50 crowd. But yeah, I'm like Ski 61701. I just want a nice cruiser. My car has 294 gears though, so it can haul *** on the freeway with the rest of the world.

If anyone is in Ca and wants my wheels....

Bear, I have SS springs and reinforcement plates where the spring mounts attach. The car is also frame tied.
Nice that will really help plant the tires. I think that with not going mini tub you should really look at the 275 and up to the 295.

Seems like the 62s have a tighter wheel well/arch? 64s seem to be universally ok with a 275/60

I recently picked this up from a fellow member after selling my 69 RR. I can't take any credit for the work done to the car, but it is gorgeous!!!! Spent some time over the past couple of weeks tuning and tweaking and she runs like a beast.

I saw that for sale on here right?!. I lost sleep over that one knowing there was no way i could even come close to building it for the asking price. Nice score!.

Nice tribute ride to the dodge boys. Sorry about the engine but when it's done will be great.

There’s a NOS 426 block on Craigslist. I’m tempted to buy it and throw in 383 pistons and a stroker crank. But that would blow my engine budget out of the water and I’m already overpowered for what I need. I’m shooting for a fast 12-13k build and doggone it, I’m going to make it Lol

That's what I said till I started working on it. Then the bomb went off in my wallet.

Haha, nope, I’m going to make it! I haven’t had anything drivable for close to a decade. I’d rather have something that drives as opposed to something that’s perfect but isn’t finished for years on end.

Well Bearman if we're still on the topic...our '64 convertible project hasn't moved much, as we have lots of irons in the fire. Acquired a '62 Fury 2dr. hardtop from my son. Car needs everything but since he wasn't going to build it I'm glad he sold it to me ( have an additional '62 parts car, as well as 2 other '64 Dodge parts cars). Since I can't seem to stick to one project at a time, I'm now building a '59 Fargo short box with a rear-facing mid-engine 400 and automatic. Good thing is I did grab a '68 350hp 440 for the convertible. And also got 2 big block pushbutton auto cores, as the wife insists on keeping the typewriter shifter (and I'm fine with that). Gonna do my best to finish all this stuff but time will tell.

There is only one thing to say about that. Maybe a couple things have fun with them. But first go get the cash out of all the banks even if it's not yours haha. Then get them done. Seriously sounds like you have some great projects post some pics of them get a garage thread started so we can follow. Just being bias get the 64 going first.

How many of you folks going with super stock grill.
