I don't have any experience with this differential in a Chrysler product but have used several in GM applications and they are a smooth and quiet operating component, well worth a look in my opinion.
@threewood is running an Eaton unit from Dr. Diff ... I'm sure he will chime in.

Yes, I'm running this in my 2 of my mostly stock b bodies. Quiet and no problems. I called Dr. Diff and he said he's not selling these anymore.

I’ve been running an eaton tru track for 5 years now in 69 B-body. Street only. No noise and no problems.

I installed one in my Darts 8 3/4, works perfectly, no noise great traction. I still don’t comprehend how it works with just gears though.
I've had my Eaton TrueTrac installed in a Moser Fabbed 8.75 for over 2 years. No noise. So smooth you don't even know it's there. 
I have one in my 69 GTX and one in my 62 Belvedere, both 741 8 3/4 units and I have had zero issues with either of them. They are smooth and quiet. Hit the gas and lay two strips of rubber. On my 62 I had to shave a few hundredths off of the button insert to get correct end play (older shim adjustment tapered axles). I like em. You use straight gear lube without friction modifier too.
Love mine. Works like a charm. No nOise

Quiet and strong. Did too many one leggers in 2nd coming through the off ramp over the years and welded the carrier case. Sorta had no choice but to replace the cone unit. My trans guy highly recommended the Eaton unit, said it would handle big block power all day long. When I go around turns...I'm like Sgt. Schultz...I hear nothing!
