2 speed wiper motor with a 3 speed switch ?

Hey everyone,
I have a 3 speed wiper switch in the dash of my project car but the only 3 speed wiper motors that I have all need work. I have a few 2 speed wiper motors though. Will they still work with the 3 speed switch in the dash?

I’m having the opposite problem. I had to put a three speed wiper motor in to replace the two speed so as to clear the Ramcharger air box I added. I can trade you switches. Hell, Kern, I think I still have some switches extra. I’ll give you one for free if you want.

My 3 speed motors have damaged wiring. I had a good one and actually sold it to a member here before I knew that I needed one.
The '68-70 Charger probably uses a unique switch. My red car has a 2 speed setup. I may save what I have to upgrade that car and make this one a 2 speed car.

nothing unique about the wiper switch for chargers any 68-70 three speed Toggle switch will work
Your probably thinking headlight switches.

Okay, I just figured because it is a rocker switch and not a rotary knob, it might be specific to Chargers.

except A bodies, the rest of Mopars of those years are rocker kind switch for headlights and wipers.

( well E bodies got a mix of them ).

then B bodies returned to rotary knobs ( or pull out ) on 71.

My '70 had a 2 speed motor in it when I got it and everything else was original 3 speed. The motor will work, but I could never get it to park correctly. I ended up getting a 3 speed motor from Bruce Somer and everything works as it should now.

Come on, man...I can't do that to you. A deal is a deal. You keep it. I will find a motor or a 2 speed switch locally. I have a spare Charger cluster in the attic. It may even have a switch in it.
