Does anyone have any experience with either or both of these bars?

I'm looking to firm up my handling a bit, I need to double check, but I think I'm currently running 0.91's so I thought of moving to two steps up to the 1.03's. Also running the 1' front sway bar and tube upper control arms.

Is the quality and results the same between the two?

PST is cheaper, but (no disrespect to PST) Hotchkis have made their name with quality performance handling packages, so you might assume they are better. I'm hoping someone on here has some real world experience they could share.

No feedback? no one is happy or unhappy with their torsion bars?

Has PST's 'clocking of the hex key' been resolved? are the clocked normally now or still clocked to be super low?

How are the Hotchkis bar's clocked? as normal or lower?

Why not just go with Mopar bars? I'm still running my originals from '68. Might be cheaper also.

The biggest mopar bar I can find is .96" not sure if that is stiff enough.

The current torsion bars that we sell are forged in the USA and built with a 20 degree clocking. We been selling this type of bar longer than Hotchkis. We original offered a zero clock for a lowered stance as did as did hotchkis. Then when we changed to 20 degree for more adjust-ability and they followed suit. As of today we have sold 1379 pair total and 121 as of this date this year. Every customer that I speak with absolutely loves the ride difference. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me and make sure to use the member discount if you decide to order.

Thanks

Thanks James,

The Clocking was my main concern here as I want to be able to achieve a good front height. I was leaning toward PST anyway, but I really appreciate the input. One of the reasons I was leaning toward PST to be honest.

Good to know about the timing of the products as well. Hotchkis certainly have their marketing machine working well!

I have PST bars on my Charger, along with their big front sway bar. It helped stiffen the front, but I also added sub-frame connectors that made a HUGE difference. I'm running Hotchkis bars and suspension on my Cuda which is lowered and built more for cornering. I would say you would be good with either, go for the biggest you can get and I would look for a sale to get them as cheap as possible.

I run a 1.09 bar from pst that I got 16 years ago. Combined with their sway bar it was plenty stiff! Stiff enough that it didn't twist up my non subframe connected roadrunner for that long. I just put sub frames in last year lol.

You should consider the products from Bergman Auto Craft. Peter Bergman bought up the leftover torsion bars from XV racing products before they went under and changed ownership. I have a set of the 1.15 bars in my 70 Charger. They have other sizes and the prices are not bad.

Hi Malicious, I have a brand new set of Hotchkis 1.03 torsion bars that have never been installed because I sold the car. They are 41'' long and fit E or B bodies. I paid $380.00 for them and would sell them for $225.00 plus you would pay the shipping to Australia.

I have magnum force drop spindles, upper control arms complete front end then steer and gear stage 3 gearbox THEN I added firm feel 1.03. Torsion bar made huge improvement. as to which is better I cannot say but but worth the money. And an easy project

I have the PST 1.03's on my 68 Charger. Don't know how they would compare to any others but they were an improvement over the stock bars.
James at PST has helped me with all of my suspension parts plus the FBBO discount. No brainer for me

Get on their mailing list for a catalog which has discount codes for specific amounts spent and/or subscribe to their email list and wait for a holiday.

I bought PSTs, being a vendor and regular on this site was one of the reasons I chose them. Hoping to install them next weekend l
