Nice , I hear ya.Here is a photo of my buddy's 64 Aluminum front 4 speed that has been in hibernation as long as yours.
Engine done, tranny done,he sent his hood and fenders out 3 years ago to a guy that is a specialist with aluminum.
Still waiting for them to be done. Then the rest of body & paint. Maybe by 2025 it may see the light of day !

Mine is only a Day 2 car, converted from a /6. Hope to have it done for "Shades of The Past" in Sept. My fingers are X'd...

I sure wish I still had my 64 Plymouth Stage III Max Wedge A-990. Man, that thing was fast. I paid it off within 6 months of street racing. The ex sold it without asking me.

My first purchased Dodge was a 1963 Polara 500 with a 383 2bl. Loved that car. Ivory with a black insert, and Ivory and Black interior. Traded my family 59 Saratoga on it.

And I thought that I was bad...!
I have 2:
1. 1963 Plymouth Savoy Ruby Red 2 door sedan 426 Stage II 11:1 cr June 24, 1963.
2. 1964 Plymouth Belevedere Black 2 door hardtop 426 Stage III 12.5:1 cr November 20, 1963.
Both with push button transmissions and now with dana 60's.
They both have set over 40+ years as well.
There always seems to be some other project that seems to move them to being done at a later date.
For the date code it is on the fender tag under the SO stamp or if you have it, the build sheet. Example: SO
0724
Also have a 1964 Dodge 440 2 door post 426S wedge 10.3:1 single 4 bbl with a 4 speed May 19, 1964 and I am building the motor for it now.
Then at last I will move onto the 1963 Plymouth Savoy 426 Maxie and finally the 1964 Plymouth Belevedere to finish.
Interesting to note, the 1963 engine block pad is stamped TMP426 Stage II.
So don't feel bad as I now see there are others of us with these cars that have been dragging our feet as well.
Will come back later with photos.
Best of luck with your project.

These are such great max wedge stories!!!
I just landed a perfect ‘62 Savoy 413 BW 3-speed original to the car, plus a ton of MW and race hemi parts. I can’t wait to drive it to cruise-ins around here & to have it sit next to my ‘65 Coronet in my garage.
Dave Wise & Katrina Wise @ MMC DETROIT have been enormously helpful to me & provided me with lots of build & date codes source information for these cars.
I was able to order their ‘Body of Knowledge’ manual & the ‘62-74 Reference Guide’ as well! Super informative for us B-Body guys!
These cars ROCK!
