Sometimes you need the opening be smaller than what comes with the press, it works great, my buddies once in a while borrow it.

I have a 12 ton press, I only use it 3 or 4 times a year but glad I have it.

I was just thinking how long ago I got my HF Press. That was way back in the 1980's when you had to do mail order because there was no HF store in the state.
And, because shipping busted the shipping box open and lost all the hardware, so I had to buy all the bolts and return springs at the hardware store.
I haven't welded the press together, but that would make it more stable. I have been looking at the air over hydraulic jacks when they are on sale to replace the hand pump jack.
