For the heck of it. Put a set of 2 1/2" tti pipes on, bolted to stock HP manifolds. Just a minor mis-alignment for the pipe to manifold flange, on driver's side. Used the lousy gaskets, tti supplied...leak big time. Tightened the bolts more, got worst. Pulled the pipe loose, and that gasket was just about burned away...not much left!
Changed both out, to the type with the ss edge, and both sides sealed good, now.
