Measurement for Fender Turn Signals

Can someone please tell me exactly where on the fender the turn signals should be mounted? This is for a '67 Belvedere. A measurement from a fixed object would be most helpful (example would be the fender emblem). Maybe a template out there? My car had them at one time but the signals were removed and the holes were filled in and painted over. Thanks so much for you help.

Thank you both for the info. I have a much better idea where they need to go. It looks like the back edge of the signal needs to be 47 1/2 " measured from the back edge of the fender. Awesome!
