I'm not attempting to bash anybody trying to bring innovation to the hobby, I just took some pics of something I noticed while swapping pumps last night. The FlowKooler I got a couple weeks ago is just a GMB aluminum housing (even says on the snout) with the FK impeller. I've seen that a lot of aluminum castings are virtually identical and various logos are cast in it for a run, so no surprise they used an existing casting.
The pump I had on it is a GMB I got for about $32 and I made my own anti-cav plate and presto! I made a Milodon HV pump. I guess I can always press off the FK impeller if I ever need to swap it out with another $30 housing.
It's going to be 90 degrees today, I'll try it out. My temps weren't that bad but my battle with detonation was also a battle with heat. I won but that's another discussion.

Best thing about using the flowkooler pump/impeller is that if it runs hot, theres no second guessing, you just look elsewhere for the problem

I put a FlowKooler on my 383, 66 Charger 2 years ago. Works great, noticed lower temps immediately. Very pleased with the FlowKooler water pump.

How big is your water pump pulley?

That’s the smallest one made, in turn, spins the pump faster.

That's the only one I've used on it. That and the 4 groove crank pulley go with Vintage A/C. So far so good, I had it out today and it was staying around 180/185. A long drive with the air on will be the real test.
