I think the Wilwood flex line length is perfect

Another big part out of storage and bolted on the car. Little by little taking shape;-)
Thanks

Your paint is all wrinkly, haha kidding of course (great reflection). this is one of the most perfect builds in my opinion, it's the car I would want but will probably never have.
You are doing what most either cant or wont do, I give you allot of credit for your talent!

I have always wondered about putting those springs in. My deck lid could use a little more tension, but it is low on my priorities.
I know it's been said 100 times or more and I will say it again. It is amazing to see the quality of work you do.

I think the paint is wrinkle free, but I’ve certainly have a few more wrinkles since starting this project five years ago ;-)
Thank you!

it’s relatively easy to move one of the springs to a another notch giving you more attention to lift the lid. are used a small prybar with a rubber hose over it to give me the leverage to reinstall each end. (see photo above)
Thank you!

Every time I see this thread pop up. Your car is gorgeous.
Thank you!
Pat

With all of the brakes bled, I mounted all 4 wheels for the first time in many years.

Thanks

Pat

Looks great as always! Some milestones are particularly awesome. Seeing it with wheels on is definitely up there!

I just got that same brake bleeder device. Hope to use it this week!

The bleeder works good but I still followed up with a round of old school 3 pumps and bleed ;-)
Thanks

Cant wait to see the clip installed, been following allong, and i want this car!

Move the car from the hot Rod shop to my home to make room for my Brothers 65 Pontiac. The AC works much better in my home garage, and the four post lift will make it very easy to install the exhaust. I think it’s been about 35 years since I’ve last towed a car with a strap. This was only about 200 yards from my house but when I was a teenager I think my record was about 15 miles ;-)

I received a note from a member on the Pro Touring forum. He said he has been following my charger build thread and that it was his favorite thing on the Internet, well almost! He says it hurts his feelings every time he opens an update on the Charger and sees the tires I’m using on the car.

It turns out he works for Michelin North America. He said they would like to give me a set of their tires because I’m building exactly the level of vehicle and build that they want to be associated with.

Needless to say I said YES! So cool that a large corporation like Michelin would think that my home built project car is worthy of their attention.

The rear wheel (335/35-17 Michelin Pilot Sports) showed up today and I should see the front wheels (275/40-17) soon.

This is very cool, I am very honored, and I will pay it forward!!

Thank you Michelin!!

Pat, if any car is deserving of sponsorship it is yours!

See if they will agree to take it to SEMA 2020!!!

I agree! Your car is very deserving. I look forward to your updates and have shared with several car buddies. I am in awe of the fine craftsmanship you and others on this site are capable of.
