My fiberglass parts showed up from AAR Stinger the other day.
I've been sanding and plugging holes in the firewall for a while now.
I'm going to try and get some color in the engine compartment next week some time with the hope that I'll have an engine sometime this year...

How is the quality of the AAR Fiberglass? Have heard nothing but good up to this point...

I bought a bumper from them a few years back and at that time wasn't thrilled about the quality.
Since then, I've seen a bunch of other glass parts that other people bought from different manufacturers and changed my mind about the quality.
I have now purchased a decklid, 2 more bumpers, 2 fenders a header panel and front valance.
I love the quality of these parts now.
Very little work compared to other companies stuff is needed.

Not really a diet.
I bought bolt on glass. My fenders were rippled from a couple years back and they weren't worth repairing.
I sold the metal stuff and replaced with this because I'm painting the car.
Weight difference is negligible IMO.
And yes, I'm in engine jail again...
