Looking into seeing what attendance will be like as to whether to try and sell stuff or just call it a wash and go and enjoy the show.... So I am curious to see who is attending verses who normally attends but is now not attending? Who is going that normally sells parts but not going to sell parts just enjoy the show? Who is going but with a much reduce inventory of parts to sell? So what are you all doing???

I look forward to Carlise more than my birthday, but I’m not going this year because of covid.

I’d rather enjoy it under normal conditions.

I'm still planning on attending if things stay about the same as they are now. If Pa announces big infection number increases then I dunno. Still took a vendor spot and room for Friday night. Only have a small amount of things to sell, take the spot as a convenience and maybe sell a part or two to offset costs. I'm expecting 50 percent participation so I won't be surprised.

Unfortunately, will not be able to attend this year. We will miss all the great people, and
the cars, parts, and the whole event! We hope everyone enjoys the show that can attend!

I'm waiting till the last second. Might register at the gate on Saturday if I go. I'm wanting to hit South Mountain on Friday and make a couple of passes if shes up to it.

I'd like to make some improvements on the car before I take it again. It's the same ol car two years in a row.

I go every year but not this time. I just feel it will be a royal PITA and no telling what will happen in the next two weeks. I will save my money for next year.

I always go every year, but right now it is wait and see, and decide what to do early that week.
I also wondering how attended the GM show was this weekend as compared to other years. Does anyone know?

I just got back from the GM show. It was really not a lot different from years past. Not a great show but attendance was similar. Rain this AM probably kept a few locals at home. Some food vendors were still closed. The manufacturers midway was fairly empty. All the building display people showed up and the clubs were there. I’ve never seen so many Fieros and Monte Carlos in my life, in one place.

I think you’ll be shocked at the amount of people who come out for the Chrysler show. The show event guide is posted and it’s packed, I think some of the vendors will be scaling back a bit but who knows. Gate attendance for the GM show looked okay too, I’m sure it was down. I thought this GM show would be an absolute ghost town and it wasn’t that bad.

Let me know if you’re selling any 67 stuff.

I'm going, no vendor space though. I put my Cummins in just for the ease of parking.
I may sell my 14" Road Wheels if anyone is interested, driver quality, scuffs, tires are worthless- good for the burnout contest though. Delivery to Carlisle only, PM me.
I don't care if I have to wear a scuba suit, there is only 1 Carlisle and it may be the only show this year.
I need parts for my 69 RR:

  • Speedo cable
  • Emergency brake cables
  • Gas cap
  • 67 R/T convertible, well maybe...
Whomever is selling this stuff, let me know please.
Whatever else I find.....there is going to be good deals this year.
Don't care about the food vendors, I go back to the RV for lunch, may be a good year to hang out at the FBBO tent for a while?
I'll be there starting Thursday.
We should all go to South Mtn. and support Hemitis and KK tho.

I think the only 67 parts I have from when I had the GTX are the black rubber GTX floor mat set (the good ones) and I have a complete set of front windshield stainless that was polished. I’ll probably bring the complete 4 speed setup removed from my 66 Hemi coronet, see if someone will bring a bundle of cash for all of it.

Will be there with a treasure of parts in H107 - H108 as always, with more new goodies again this year...
Right next to the showers and bathrooms, four rows out from the center of the food court...
Stop on by....
Yours, Craig...

I usually go every year. Too hot to wear mask plus I have my in-laws living with us and they are in their 80’s. Don’t want to take a chance on their health. Going to miss the great people and cars

I hope vendors that show up have sheet metal, AMD, Looking for a shaker hood for cuda and rotted out A body parts.

Agreed. My son's wedding scheduled for April 3 was rescheduled for July 10, so I canceled my car coral spot and hotel room. Now the wedding is rescheduled again & I've just given up on any fun for this year.

My dad and I go every year and look forward to it more than Christmas. We were going to go this year, but in the last few days pops was getting nervous and decided to sit this year out. So we won't be attending.

I was giving reports from the twice postponed Spring Carlisle......
Spread over 82 acres, Outdoors, Four Days, and 11 hours a day, we were safer there than we are at our local Walmart or Supermarket....
That being said, it is all about our Freedoms, and Our Choice...
Those who want to go ...... GO.
Those who want to stay home.... Stay Home...

Both choices are correct.... There is NO wrong here...this year....
Hope to see a lot of you, but not at the same time, and spread out and safe !!!!!!!
Yours, Craig..... H107 - H 108 .......

Been going since the 90's and usually sell some parts and spend all year building a wish list of parts to buy. Great opportunity to meet and support some of the great vendors. Used to go Saturday/Sunday. Then it was Friday Saturday/Sunday. Now we leave Wednesday, set up Thursday, hit the Carlisle Dinner Friday morning drive in and have fun all weekend. Not happening this year. Can't even get over the border yet. We will be back next year.
