Yes, on the Holley equipped Mopars, they even started putting then on engines 3 at a time at some point.

I don't see the conversion paying off over time. The carburetor, while being a crude device, is also far easier to work on compared to the potential voodoo of electronics and fuel injection. Every person that I know that has used an aftermarket EFI setup has had their car towed home at least once. I have never been towed. I have always been able to figure this car out.
