Deleting posts

I forgot how long the delay is...I believe Joey extended the ability to self-edit a year or so back. Sorry I cannot remember how long that is - it used to be fairly short, like 15 minutes. Maybe it is a few days now.
Anyone can always contact a Mod to have an edit done - within good reason that is. :)
It seems I remember 15 min as well.

Sometimes someone wants all of their posts deleted because they are either pissed off or decided to move on. Well, that's not easy plus the boss doesn't like doing that for several reasons but like already mentioned, we don't mind doing things like editing or removing certain things within reason and if the reason is reasonable.....uh, couldn't think of anymore reasons to say reason....

I’ve been a member for about 10 years. I’ve built and restored 3 cars since then, and enjoy the various personalities and insights, no matter how it’s offered. Some people offer advice, and others can heed it....or not. I choose to learn as I go, and jump from post to post marveling at the millions of hrs of expertise on this site......stay thirsty my friends

Hello
This is my first post - even tho I have been a member for a while.
OldKimmer, one thing to take in consideration is that although your (or others) posts are not answered, doesn't mean the advice is not taken. There are people like me that research through the posts, in order to advance on our projects... advice is greatly appreciated but not acknowledged. I am in that "older" age group that is not too computer savvy so I don't usually contribute to forums.
As far a forums go, this has to be one of the better ones. The absolute worst has to be some Mustang forums (84 to present) where insults and disrespect is a common place.
Nothing should be taken too seriously in a big forum like this

Regards
Not knowing Mopar puts me at a disadvantage with all of you. I know I ramble on and post things for fun, but I do pay attention and read. I'm sure some have put me on their ignore list, but, sites like these are very important for all in the hobby. The people and stored information on here is endless and invaluable. Without you guys, not me, this place wouldn't exist. I thank you all!!

Yup, but not so much on this site.
There have been a few times where I’ve gotten into it here with members and things deteriorated to a level I wasn’t comfortable with or proud of. I’ve deleted some posts and apologized for a few.
But not much, and as far as I know we’ve essentially shaken hands and moved on. I love this site for that. The moderators do a great job of, well, moderating.
There is one Canadian gun site that I’m part of. I now only use it to buy and sell, NEVER to discuss ANYTHING. It is populated by the biggest number of trolls and douchebags of any site that I’m aware of. If you’re not one of the cool, “in” members they will single you out for abuse until you are silenced or leave. But it is a great place to buy stuff so I just keep my big mouth shut.
My guess is you have never been on Yellow Bullet:elmer::elmer::elmer::elmer::nutkick::usflag::popcorn2:

I finally had to do it tonight. I’m gonna refrain from offering advice. Anybody else ever do this. . Kim
I now understand where Kim was going with this thread.....

Some people you just can't help.

If I answer a question , I give the advice I feel is the answer I would use. Its up to whoever to take it or leave it. I don't care.

I pulled some fence posts out of the ground just the other day Kim, had to do it. They needed to go though...:bananaweed:

When I was a young man my father in law would give advice and say, but do what you want. He was older and smarter, and sometimes I f^^^^^ up!!
