Sitting here at work a few hours before leaving for the week on vacation to Seneca lake and my ability to produce anything for the company is dwindling faster than a hard on at 80 haha! Can't wait to get out on the lake and do some camping with friends and family and not be at work 6 days a week for the past months. All hooked up and ready to go and the boats shined up too! Sometimes I even need a break from the Mopars in the garage and relax a bit.

My wife and I Love camping. The state of Michigan opened up the state campgrounds recently. We can't wait to get out and relax! Have fun and be safe. 440'

Nice boat and some camping, boating, and fishing sounds great. Sometimes a rewind is a good thing.

Yea camping is my gig to relax. Bought the boat from a buddy this spring. He had it 20 years. Its a 19' checkmate with a 5.7 I/O so it runs well and is in excellent shape for being a 92. I have been loving it all summer so far. Usually headed to Carlisle this week of the summer, but decided to skip a year and so far it seems I picked the best year to skip if any with all the flu crap going on.

Enjoy your week off. Try to compartmentalize your work thoughts. We all need a break from what we spend most of out time at - and that is usually work. Grill some steaks for,the family enjoy a beer and catch some fresh fish for a fry later on. Above all just check out and relax and enjoy!

Our group skipped this year as well. I seem to have lost my Mopar mojo for doing anything with my cars. That's ok. They will keep until I am ready.

Yea I don't do much fishing....just like the cars, I like and prefer the speed and cruising the water and swimming. I will be sure to drag the old man around on skis as well as he loves that stuff! He was so boned up when I got the boat for skiing it was like a little kid on Christmas! I can definitely get rid of work thoughts once I am out of here. One of the best things about m job with multiple shifts is once I shut the door at work I don't worry about it until the next day. It's a good feeling. Thanks for the kind words all! Its almost time to hit the water and crack open a cold Pepsi and Captain! :D:D

Camping sounds like a great plan with all the BS going on right now. Have a great time. Boat looks like a blast!!!

congrats & have fun

BOAT
Break Out Another Thousand

mine is more for fishing than watersports
16ft Glasspar old 16' bow rider, with a 90hp Merc
my dad uses it more than I do now
I was gonna' get rid of it,
just another 2 things I have to insure & register

I've had a few of them (Boats) over the years too
Malibu Ski GM powered & Ski Nautique was Ford powered
Donzi Sport 28' BBC In/out back in the 90's ran around Lake Tahoe a bunch
had a few Jet boats when I lived near the delta too,
Concord, Pleasant Hill, Antioch was just min.'s away from the delta
all my friends were into boats too,
most were Hydros or Flat-bottom IHBA drag boats
Hog Back Island/Slough was the big hang out

like my next-door neighbors Pete & Marlene in Pleasant Hill
I crewed for (or their TF Nostalgia dragster, kid Fritz drove)
owners of Crazy Horse BFFB "& still" the IHBA class record holder,
Blown Fuel Flat Bottom, Hondo Hull, 426 Hemi, piloted by Al Bush
I once asked Al, how many boats he sank ?,
he said; "all of them"
