I need to remove the far right AC vent from the woodgrain dash panel insert. It looks like it is held in by 2 small push pins? Wonder if anyone has had luck removing them without breaking anything!
A small set of long needle nose pliers will help get them started out (angle slightly so one tip of the pliers is on the tip of the pin, the other tip on the outer plastic. A gentle squeeze will either pop the pin out or get the head out far enough to get something under it enough to gently pry it straight out (think of it like pulling a tiny nail.). mainly, try to push it out as straight as possible and try not to twist it out, just straight out.
Thanks for the tips! I was able to put a small chisel under the head of the push pin and then turn it slowly to pry them out. Appreciate the responses!
