It's so HOT

It's hotter than a furnace fan
Out in Arizona
A hundred and ten is nothin when
You live out there ya see..

"Furnace Fan" Robert Earl Keen, Jr.

My mistake, i rechecked. Sunday is 122, monday is 121f.

Oh my god.. and I am bitch'in about the 90s here in Mich.. which is bad here! The weatherman said last evening on the news, that we have had 15 days of 90 degrees or above, which since June started there have been many other days of 87-89 degrees!! I can't really take it anymore.. but we have air conditioning in our main shop, which is really nice! Just to finish this story off, I was really bitching last night, as the power here on the property at 7:00 pm, went out and we could not get anything hot to eat, had to eat cereal, which is fine.. but not what I really wanted! I was hotter than a whore in a police station, after drilling spot welds, and so on, and could not shower or even wash up, so grabbed a clean towel and went to bed all sweaty! The power finally came back on at 2:04 AM, which was great. Something has got to get better with the electric company.. as I have lived here for 35 years, and the power has went out here over 100 times, and they just don't seem to give a crap.. but they have there hand held out for payment at the 30 day time frame!! It sucks!!

Good day to be on a roof. But if it hits 115 I’m going back inside.

Leaving for Oregon from S. NM Monday. Driving through AZ, NV and NorCal. Figures I picked Hell to drive through.

Years ago when we lived in Los Angeles, we needed to drive to Phoenix during 115 heat. We had 2 cars, neither with A/C. She argued about renting a car...so we drove my Jeep CJ. Learned it was less hot with the windows up driving across the desert.

Is that the tribe doing the closure in that area
The river is the border between Nevada, Arizona, and california. I think each state has shut down their access.
All the local casinos are shut down again, even the Indian ones.
Dammit, I wanna go bowling again, but the only lanes around are in the casinos!

Yeah came through Phoenix last Sept towing the Duster, no AC. 115 in traffic was brutal.

Ours regional "weather guesser", easiest damn job here
said;
it's supposed to be 98*/64* to 101*/66*, fri. sat. sun.
where I'm at, a tad bit less maybe, about 1500-1800 ft higher elevation
but with little to no humidity like 48%-52%, maybe a hi of 60% :bananadance:
(it's bad for fire season thou)
it's nothing like monsoon areas or south or southwest
or back east, east of the Mississippi, 80% - 95% humidity:poke:
where you have to change shirts a couple times a day

so it's not as bad,
thank god it cools off at night & we have trees for shade

I love this time of year

about an hr ago we have thunder storm clouds building up
to the north & east
dropped the temps about 10*'s
it's still hot, just not unbearable hot, more humid too

nothing of the sorts in the "weather guessers prognostications"

I think the dumb asses
just roll a set of dice with 89-105 on them
post them #'s up

still swimming weather

& dog playing fetch weather

We are supposed to break a record next week, supposed to be 103 with humidity levels at 90%
