Pypes exhaust.....junk

Great I’ve been looking at MagnaFlow a lot and will go that way , I will probably get it from summit. I used ECS for my 70 RT and it’s some really nice stuff they have, they are also local for me and I think the staff is very knowledgeable and good to deal with as you do get what you pay for..
F4R/T - best username ever....

USA quality control is not even close to what it once was in the auto parts industry.
At our shop we get time after time boxed parts from Chevy , Chrysler , Ford , ect that the box is perfect, no crush , no holes. but the part inside has damage.
Headlamps , tail lamps , fenders and hoods , doors and skins, on and on. The steel parts we just repair at install { faster for us } the lighting goes back for replacment.
I know many folks swear by domestic branding but most of our GM / Ford/ Chrysler branded replacment parts are stamped Made in China or Mexico. Our big 3 deal with the cheapest vendor they can find.
I get a laugh when customers insist on GM ect replacement parts claiming they do not want any china junk on their car. I do not bother to tell them that is what is coming in that GM box.

From the body shop perspective, Toyota, Kia ect Japan and Korea cars and parts are kicking our *** as far as quality control.
